What equipment is required for my program?

U04 - U06 Active Start Programs

• Soccer Shoes optional
• Shin-guards mandatory
• Water Bottle

U07-U09 Community Programs

• Soccer shoes and shin pads are required
• Size 3 or 4 soccer ball
• Water Bottle

U10-12 Community Programs

• Soccer shoes and shin pads are required
• Size 4 soccer ball 
• Water Bottle

U13 - U18 Programs

• Soccer shoes and shin pads are required
• Size 4 or 5 soccer ball (dependent on age)
• Water Bottle

*NOTE: for safety reasons, we request all players wear their shin pads, either under a pair of soccer socks or underneath a pair of long pants 

Why aren’t we playing outside?

While specific EHSC programs do have outdoor sessions (Skills Centre and Competitive programs), the majority of our Community based programs tentatively take place at the East Hants Sportsplex Dome. Our preference would be to offer more outdoor programming, however the recent past has shown us that the spring/summer weather in Nova Scotia has been less than cooperative. Based on rain, humidity and field conditions, we have had to cancel many sessions during our summer programming, and the short summer season has not allowed us to reschedule these sessions. By offering the programming in the dome, we feel we can offer our members the most consistent schedule. 

Nobody is answering the phone?

EHSC is a volunteer organization and as such we do not have anybody actively at our office in the East Hants Sportsplex. While we do have a phone number and voicemail, it is not monitored and the messages are not checked. If you need to get hold of us, please send an email or message us on social media. 

I'm having trouble with registration, who should I contact? Why aren’t we playing outside?
